What is bronchial asthma?

Bronchial asthma, referred to as asthma, is a chronic airway inflammatory disease and is a common respiratory disease. The onset of asthma can be acute and slow, most of which are cough, sputum increase, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, etc. Some patients only have cough, but some patients are life-threatening at the time of onset.

There are many classification methods for asthma. Previously, there were exogenous asthma, endogenous asthma, and mixed asthma. In recent years, asthma has been classified into allergic asthma, infectious asthma, sports asthma, drug asthma, occupational asthma, psychogenic asthma, and certain types of asthma (such as menstrual asthma and pregnancy asthma) according to the cause of the disease.
